7 months ago I was still able to update this blog. But after entering Medical posting, there was not much time for anything. Whatever time we had left was used to clean up the house and balik kampung. It was aggravated by me being appointed as the HO captain for Medical. It was HORRIBLE. I had to review the HO roster every night and get screwed up the next day by specialists for putting people at the wrong places. Not to mention the constant requests by colleagues to put them in 'nice' wards and emergency leaves.
Hopefully I wont be the captain for any of my subsequent postings. Akmar is already in her 4th posting (Surgery) while im just into my 3rd. We managed to stay in Medical together for 2 months. It was a nice stint as we managed to do on calls together and help out at the ward. Applying for leave was also much easier.
Tomorrow (5th September) I will start Orthopaedics. The worst posting in Hospital Taiping. The highest number of extensions and highest number of bosses that will screw you up every moment that they can. I have reserved 3 months in anticipation for an extension, hopefully I wont need it but at least Im mentally prepared. Im not even sure if Ill be getting any Raya holidays either as Ill be in the middle of my tagging period.
A few months have passed since my last entry. I malas nak tulis lagi (need to study for Ortho) but here are some pics. Thanx for being interested in our lives :)
Taiping is blessed with the Lake Garden and Bukit Larut. We love to have picnics here whenever we have the time.
In May, we had the opportunity to be part of the delegates for MMA's 50th AGM in Melaka. We also took some time to see Melaka and enjoy the food.
We went to Perhentian last month for a gathering. We were abit dissapointed with the poor turnout but managed to make the best of it. The snorkeling trip was great, the water was crystal clear.
Here's Snow with the neighbour's cat, Kucing Gemok. The next pic is our prized lady fingers. Nothing beats freshly plucked ladies finger..mmmmm!

haha..dont be scared.its just part of life.actually i think taiping is a good training hospital.it allows u to train urself to adapt.u wont see high tech stuff here but u do get to do alot, provided u are willing to do it and learn.which other hospitals do u do ray amputation in the ward?taiping is one of the few places in semenanjung.wherever u get placed, its the attitude that matters ;)
